Rosa Angélica, a Luso-Venezuelan creative, found in Lisbon the perfect place to unite creativity, sustainability, and maritime tradition. From her attentive gaze emerged TRÓPIKO, a brand of handcrafted candles that transforms marine waste into design and decor pieces with a distinctly Portuguese identity.
Her inspiration came from a desire to recycle and elevate marine byproducts — giving new life to natural oysters and mollusk shells collected from local restaurants. Each candle becomes a unique piece that blends aesthetics, environmental awareness, and a deep connection to place.
