AMEBEATO ACTIVITY PLAN 2025: STRATEGY AND OBJECTIVES FOR A YEAR OF GROWTH AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

The Association of Residents and Entrepreneurs of Beato (AMEBEATO) has presented its Activity Plan for 2025, outlining an annual strategy focused on projects and activities designed to support the residents and entrepreneurs of the parish of Beato, in Lisbon. The document defines the strategic and operational objectives, aligned with the budget and available resources, including human, financial, property and technological.

The Beato Senior University, a member of RUTIS since September 2023, is a central part of this Plan for next year. AMEBEATO stresses the importance of fostering education and the socio-cultural involvement of the community.

The main objectives of the Activity Plan for 2025 are:

  1. Organization of the 1st Animal Festival: Event to be held in Mata da Madre de Deus.

  2. Organization of events by the Universidade Sénior do Beato: Includes activities of the RUTIS network and Lisbon’s Senior Academies and Universities.

  3. Participation in events organized by other associations: Including the Beato Medieval Fair and events run by the Beato Parish Council.

  4. Development of intergenerational socio-cultural activities: Promoting interaction between young and old.

  5. Implementation of the Sewing Project: A community initiative.

  6. Planning the Beato Multi-use Pavilion Project.

  7. Development of historical and architectural projects: Focused on the parishes of Beato and Marvila.

  8. Continuation of the 2024 Activities Plan.

  9. Holding fortnightly meetings for members.

  10. Organizing the “Madre de Deus Neighbourhood Day” event.

  11. Establishing partnerships: mainly with companies in Beato.

  12. Implementation of the “Young 18-25 Members Zero Quota” project.

  13. Holding workshops on “Ruralities Applied to Urban Territories”.

  14. Organization of competitions: To reward the best ideas or projects by members.

  15. Resumption of AMEBEATO’s proposals to public bodies: In areas such as town planning and hygiene, raising awareness among the relevant authorities.

  16. Development of the AMEBEATO website project: Including partnerships and a local map.

  17. Street Party: Music, flavors, handicrafts and more.

  18. Donation campaigns and crowdfunding actions.

This Activity Plan is a statement of intent that may change throughout the year, reaffirming AMEBEATO’s commitment to its mission and values, focused on the development and well-being of the local community.
