Vitória Clube de Lisboa kicks off the 2025/2026 season with the strength of its history

Founded on 11 August 1944, Vitória Clube de Lisboa kicked off the 2025/2026 sports season this week, reaffirming its role as one of the oldest and most respected symbols of the Beato parish.

Amebeato will be closely following Vitória Clube de Lisboa throughout the 2025/2026 season, based on information provided by the club itself, highlighting not only its sporting achievements but also the history and legacy built over more than eight decades of dedication to sport and the community.

Over the years, Vitória CL has won regional titles and forged an identity defined by perseverance, team spirit, and a deep connection to the residents of the neighbourhood.

The season’s presentation took place at the club’s headquarters on Rua Silveira Peixoto, bringing together directors, athletes, coaches, and supporters. Club president Pedro Gonçalves emphasised that “Vitória is more than just a club — it is a living heritage of Beato, which continues to grow with the support of everyone.

Balancing competitive goals with community initiatives, the season promises to uphold the tradition of opening doors to young talent and strengthening the club’s role as a meeting point and source of local pride.
