WORLD DAY OF DANCE
World Dance Day is celebrated every year on April 29th, the date chosen by UNESCO in honor of the birth in 1727 of Jean-Georges Noverre, one of the world’s great names in dance.
Its aim is to celebrate art itself and its universality, regardless of political, cultural and ethical barriers.
Let’s remember a phrase by Isadora Duncan: “To dance is to feel, to feel is to suffer, to suffer is to love… You love, you suffer and you feel. Dance!”
